With the advent of the World Wide Web, information has never been so readily available or easier to come by. However,
finding the right information is not an easy task. It’s like looking for a policeman. They are always around when you
don’t need them, but you can never seem to find one when you do need them. This is especially true for statistical data.
With millions of sites springing up each week in cyberspace, locating the statistical data you need, whether for marketing
or academic research, can be a very time consuming endeavor. The following is a list of Web sites containing international
and U.S. statistical data compiled from couple of excellent online articles
titled: "Wide Wide World of Statistics: International Statistics on
the Internet" by Geraldine Foudy, and " The
Numbers Game: The Top 10 Sources for Statistics" by Paula Berinstein. Both articles provide useful advice on how to
find the statistical information you need on the Internet.
